HI-SMOOTH is a vegetable fibre made from ingredients of natural origin extracted from flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum), composed mainly of high molecular weight polysaccharides (mucilaginous material) physically treated to achieve good and easy dispersion in water, both in cold and hot conditions at a wide range of pH and salt(s) concentration.
HI-SMOOTH acts as natural thickening agent and stabilizer; it shows high water binding capacity but also emulsifying properties and it can help to stabilize water-in-oil emulsions.
Its unique properties make it a really good solution to replace ''E-numbers" in several applications and not only:

  • Gelling
  • Foaming
  • Emulsifying
  • Easy soluble / dispersible
  • GMO free & Allergen Free
  • Clean Label solution (replacing additives like Locust Bean Gum, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenans)
